FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dosimetry materials of ionizing radiation and can be used in devices for detecting emissions in the environment, in radiological studies of food products. Thermoluminescent substance has a composition PbCd2B6O12: Eu3+ and was obtained by the addition of europium oxide Eu2O3 in the charge, containing the following components, mass %: PbO – 24.99, CdO – 30.27, H3BO3 – 43.71, Eu2O3 – 1.03. Charge is subjected to a three-stage annealing in air at temperatures of 200 °C, 400 °C and 600 °C for 10, 20 and 80 hours consequently.

EFFECT: thermoluminescent material obtained is moisture resistant and has a high intensity of thermoluminescence.
