FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filler neck assembly and to a liquid tank provided with such a filler neck assembly. Filler neck assembly comprises supporting part (4) designed to be fixed at fluid tank inlet (3) positioned on a motor vehicle, and said supporting part (4) has a central through hole, mainly formed about central axis (X_A). Filler neck assembly also comprises tubular part (5) which is located in the central through hole and has longitudinal axis (X_AT). Filler neck assembly also includes a first abutment area and second abutment area attached to one part selected from supporting part (4) and tubular part (5) and contacting area attached to the other part selected from tubular part (5) and supporting part (4), so that the contacting area can interact with the first or second abutment areas. First and second abutment areas and the contacting area are arranged in such a way, that the interaction of the contacting area with the first abutment area determines the first angular position of tubular part (5) with respect to supporting part (4), and the interaction of the contacting area with the second abutment area defines the second angular position of tubular part (5) with respect to supporting part (4).

EFFECT: technical result: the creation of the filler neck assembly that facilitates the user insertion of the fuel nozzle into the filler neck assembly of the liquid tank.
