FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: use: to measure radial clearances in compressors of gas turbine plants. Core of the invention is that the extreme value of the code from the measuring transducer is recorded when the center of the sensitivity zone of the sensor passes through the face of the controlled blade; the radial clearance for the controlled blade is calculated characterized in that, in order to increase the accuracy of the measurement, an array of digital codes of the measuring transducer is recorded for the complete rotation of the impeller and simultaneously, during the registration, found is the minimum value of the code; formed is an array of statistical distribution of the registered codes, where the array index is the value of the code, the value of the array element is the frequency of the code appearance in the registered array; allocated in the array of statistical distribution is a corridor of indices corresponding to the range of codes when the center of the sensitivity zone of the sensor passes through the centers of the interblabe spaces, fixed is the beginning of the corridor by the minimum value of the code, the end of the corridor is determined by the magnitude of the range; calculated is a sample average of the codes for the elements of the array within the allocated corridor, which is taken as a single extreme code value for all the interblade spaces; calculated is a radial clearance for the controlled blade by the difference between the recorded extreme value of the code from the measuring transducer as the center of the sensitivity zone of the sensor passes through the end of the controlled blade and the single extremal value of the code for all the interblade spaces.
EFFECT: technical result is increasing the accuracy of measuring radial clearances.
