FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a tape cartridge installed with possibility of connection/disconnection in a tape printer having two guide pins, which direct the tape cartridge connection/disconnection to/from the cartridge mounting section. Tape cartridge comprises: a cartridge body having two protrusions grasped by fingers on its side surface; support roller guided by one of the guide pins during the tape cartridge connection/disconnection, and a guided section guided by one of the other guide pins during the tape cartridge connection/disconnection, at that, the guided section is located at a distant place of the cartridge body, at that, the distant place is the furthest place above the imaginary line L, which joins together two protrusions grasped by the fingers, relative to the support roller. Proposed cartridge can be smoothly connected/disconnected to/from the cartridge installation section with its gripping parts and guided parts arranged in a balanced manner.

EFFECT: developed is a tape cartridge that can be smoothly connected/disconnected to/from the cartridge installation part.
