SUBSTANCE: disclosed is the ribbon cartridge, which allows pressing for the proper positioning and stably perform regardless of the device design or the cartridge body thickness value. Disclosed is the ribbon cartridge, which, during the printing ribbon output, causes the ribbon printing device printing head to print on the printing ribbon in the state, in which it can be installed into the ribbon printing device with possibility of attachment/detachment. Ribbon cartridge contains: printing ribbon; cartridge body, in which the printing ribbon is located; and the elastic part, which is provided on the cartridge body front surface or on the recessed part, displaceable by the ribbon printing device pressing part pressing force, and applies reaction force increasing with the pressing part displacement displacing value.

EFFECT: disclosed is the ribbon cartridge.
