SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a processing device of the tape printer. The tape printer provided with a casing of main housing which is detachably attached to the cartridge with the typing ribbon accommodating the typing ribbon, and using a braking mechanism at the side of the cartridge, provided in the cartridge with the typing ribbon, and a braking mechanism at the side of the device provided in the tape printer, which applies countertension to the typing ribbon to be wound by the winding core of the cartridge with the typing ribbon, by the core feeding outwards, and the braking force of the brake mechanism at the side of the device is set as smaller relative to the braking force of the brake mechanism at the side of the device.
EFFECT: improvement of the design.
