SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organosilicon polymers in particulate form containing benzoic acid esters, methods for their preparation, cosmetic or dermatological composition containing them, as well as their use for protecting the human or animal body from UV radiation. Method is proposed for the preparation of a perspective organosilicon photo-protective polymer comprising reacting a monomer of formula (I), wherein R is fragment of formula (i), where R₁, R₃, R₄, R₅, R₆, R₇, R₈ and R₉ represent H; R₂ is selected from OR₁₀ and NR₁₂R₁₃; R₁₀, R₁₂ and R₁₃ is (C₁-C₆)alkyl; L is a linker selected from -CH=N- and -(CH₂)-O-C(O)-NH-; R_a, R_b and R_c is (C₁-C₆)alkyl; p = 3; s and t are equal to 1; with compound of formula (IV), where R_d, R_e, R_f and R_g are (C₁-C₆)alkyl; w₁ and w₂ are equal to 1; in a mixture of alkanol/water. Polymer obtained by the method and the variants of its use, as well as variants for preparing the monomer are proposed (I).

EFFECT: technical result is that the proposed method makes it possible to obtain economically efficient new sunscreen compounds having an improved ability to protect against UV radiation.
