SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering, in particular to anti-erosion soil-cultivating devices. Device for cutting a water-absorbing slit with a simultaneous filling of it with straw contains a hinged frame, on which a sliver is successively fixed, two guides in the form of tine arms and a sealing working member in the form of a cut-out disk with an involute profile of the projections, connected to the frame by means of a parallelogram mechanism with the possibility of height adjustment, for its installation in such a way that only the protrusions enter the gap, and from the field surface to the disc depressions there is a distance equal to the stubble height of the field being processed.

EFFECT: such a constructive solution provides an improvement in the water-absorbing capacity of the slit by laying the straw in a slot with access to the surface of the field in the form of a micro-wings and with air space between the bottom of the slit and the straw.
