FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device for cutting water-absorbing slots with their simultaneous filling with straw comprises frame (1) with slot cutter (2) installed on it in the form of vertical post (5) with deformer (7), guides (3) in the form of rakes (4) and a closing working element made in the form of a freely rotating disc (9). Vertical post (5) and deformer (7) are connected in a movable manner by means of axes (8). Closing working element is connected to deformer (7) by means of hinge-lever mechanism, one link (12) of which is connected to rear part of deformer (7), and opposite link (13) with lower link (14) form a subframe, on connecting axis (15) of which the closing working member disc (9) is fitted.
EFFECT: reduced soil erosion processes due to increased resistance of the slot formed in the soil.
