FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be applied as a method for measuring the torque on the motor shaft and the rotational speed of its rotor. New method is based on measuring the angle of mutual rotation of the ends of the base section of the elastic shaft under the action of the torque by means of an optoelectronic transducer consisting of a radiation source and a photodetector device forming electric pulses, and it is possible to measure both the torque determined by the duration of the pulses generated by the photodetector device and the rotor speed of the motor, determined by the pulse repetition period.
EFFECT: technical result is an extension of the functionality of the method: measuring both the torque on the motor shaft, and the rotational speed of its rotor without increasing the number of used radiation sources and photodetectors.
