FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering, and more particularly to the automatic control of the process of filming a video clip. To this end, information is received about the action in a scene, whereupon a directorial description of a frame to be filmed is calculated. Description of the frame is then transmitted to a camera operator, and a set of frame variants is generated according to the directorial description of the frame. Camera parameters for the filming of each frame in the set of frame variants are obtained and the optimum frame close to the directorial description of the frame is selected. Frame is returned to a director, which carries out the final inclusion of the frame in a montage sheet. Relevant camera is set up and the optimum frame is filmed. Subsequent frames of the action in a scene are produced by repeating the preceding method steps, and a sequence of frames is generated in accordance with the montage sheet. Sequence of frames is transmitted to a client program.
EFFECT: technical result is providing automatic selection, setting the position, orientation and other parameters of the cameras when filming a video clip.
