FIELD: aeronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the circular view radar constructing method. To construct a radar station, placing the radar in the gas-filled shell of a tethering balloon, driving the radar antenna into a continuous rotation around the axis of the radar radial joint with the balloon bearing platform, forming the gyroscopic pendulum flywheel, determining the bearing angle increment, according to the laser goniometer readings connected to the antenna, determining the coordinate system origin by means of episodic direction measurements of the ground object with known coordinates relative to the balloon coordinates.
EFFECT: enabling the radar design simplification, increase in the antenna orientation accuracy.
