SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chipping-shearing bits for drilling rock strata for oil and gas or other purposes. Chisel bit with a cylindrical cutting structure includes a body with a threaded connection, a central channel and a flushing liquid outlet protected by a carbide-coated blade with a passive calibration part and a main cutting profile, where a plurality of diamond PDC cutters are arranged from the central axis of the bit to the nominal bit diameter. Diamond cutting tools PDC are directed by the flat part to the face and form with it angle A° in the range from 0.5 to 30°. Cutting process is carried out by the cylindrical surface of the diamond cutter PDC, protected from the front by carbide material in the thickness range from 0.1 to 7 mm and height in the range from 0.1 to 7 mm. Diamond cutters PDC along the main cutting profile are arranged in such a way that the diamond cutter PDC on one blade overlaps the working region of the diamond cutter PDC of the adjacent blade in the range of 0 to 100 %.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the service life of the tool when the rock is broken by a blade chisel.
