FIELD: communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and may be used in communication systems via the body. For this purpose, receiver module 101 of communication device 100 through body coupled communication devices 102 for receiving signals over transmission channel 160 through body, which follows body of user 150. Wake-up receiver 108 and main receiver 106 of receiver module 101 are connected to connectors 102. Main receiver 106 can operate in the sleep mode and in the operating mode. Wake-up receiver 108 generates wake-up signal 107, when the signals received through transmission channel 160 through the body in a given spectral range exceed the threshold energy level. Wake-up signal 107 is transmitted to the circuit of the communication device 100 via body, to directly or indirectly configure main receiver 106 to operate.

EFFECT: technical result consists in lowering energy consumption when establishing communication through the body.
