FIELD: communication means.

SUBSTANCE: receivers adjusted in the same range, whereat quality evaluation of the channel corresponding to the used at present carrier wave and alternative to the carrier wave is generated without switching between the carrier waves. Transmitting device of various cells and/or various sectors mainly employs various carrier frequencies, but periodically transmits using carrier frequency of the neighboring sector. Receivers of mobile nodules use one RF circuit with controlled RF filter for signal receiving and processing within the range of the first selected range of the carrier wave, incorporating two signal components: the first signal component, identified by the first at the present point range, and the second signal component identified by the second alternative range. Separate quality indicators values are derived from the first and the second components of the signal, they are compared, and decision is made whether to switch RF filter of the receiver to the second range of RF.

EFFECT: receivers are adjusted to the ways of selecting of the carrier frequency in the wireless communication lines employing multiple carrier frequencies.
