FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: main rotor control system includes handle (1) with switch (4), which is located in the cockpit and by means of cable (2) and system of levers is connected to brake rotor shoe pads (3). Brake includes bracket (5) and drum (6), which is fixed to tail shaft (7) and contacts shoe (3). Bracket (9) of rolling mechanism is fixed to brake support (5) and spring (10) is mounted on it, which is wound around axis (11) and supports push lever (12). Mounting bracket (14) is attached to brake bracket (5), on platform (19) of which microswitch (13) with button (22) is fixed. Push lever (12) receives control force from control knob (1) by means of cable (2) and acts on microswitch (13), turning on or off its button (22).

EFFECT: pilot is informed of the state of the rotor brake even in the event of emergency break in the cable connecting the control handle to the brake shoes.
