FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of manufacturing an endless belt of at least two metal sheets (2, 3, 4). Method is characterised in that at least two metal plates (2, 3, 4) are respectively introduced into one edge (9, 10, 11, 12) of two opposing fixtures of at least one removable connection element (5, 5a) and form composite board (6), whereupon free end edges (7, 8) of composite board (6) which lie opposite edges (9, 10, 11, 12) of the metal plates arranged in at least one connection element (5), are bent towards one another, giving metal plates (2, 3, 4) joined together in composite board (6) an annular shape in fixing device (14) by means of tension belts (15), and free end edges (7, 8) are welded together, after which at least one connecting element (5, 5a) is removed, followed by bending and welding to each other edges (9, 10, 11, 12) of metal plates (2, 3, 4), connected to each other by means of at least one connecting element (5).

EFFECT: method provides for simplification and automation of the process of manufacturing an endless belt of at least two plate-like metal sheets.
