FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and, in particular, to pumps. Energy conversion in the pump occurs when the fluid and impeller blades interact in the form of a closed curved channel. Impeller is made in the form of a disk, which is installed in the pump body with separation of the latter into a supply and a retraction. Blades are rigidly connected to the disk, the inlet and outlet openings of which are arranged along the periphery of the disc on its different sides and facing, respectively, in the direction of rotation of the impeller and against. When moving the inlet holes of the blades towards the liquid, a high-speed head is created, under the action of which a flow of liquid appears in the flowing part of the pump.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the construction and reducing the labour input of the impeller blades, using the design characteristic in practice in determining the operational properties of the designed pump and ensuring a continuous supply of liquid.
