FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: end mill cutter includes a connecting groove extending along the cutting edge and formed in angular sector of the end mill cutter. The connecting groove extends from the first end point so that it leaves more than half of the cutting edge with angular radius without the groove and connects the surface of the end groove to the front surface of the channel.
EFFECT: reduced vibration during treatment, reduced consumption of electric power, improved cutting conditions, increased effective cutting length of the cutting edge.
