FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, production of transformable pieces of upholstered furniture, more particular, sofas-beds and armchairs-beds.

SUBSTANCE: furniture comprises frame construction consisting of pivotally connected back frames, seat and base. Base frame incorporates roller catch-pusher for pushing of retractable supports, and seat frame incorporates stop for fixing supports in their operating position. Lock for fixing furniture in position wherein it forms sofa with inclined back is defined by two catches, one of catches being made retractable.

EFFECT: convenient usage, simplified and reliable construction, and wider operational capabilities owing to providing sofa with inclined back and automatic lowering of retractable supports on transforming of furniture into bed and returning it to horizontal position on transforming of furniture to sofa.
