FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of meteorology and can be used primarily for automated processing of meteorological information, in particular for the automated generation of weather maps, forecasting meteorological values and phenomena, solving the applied problems of consumers. System for the automated generation of the forecast of weather phenomena contains a minimum of two personal computers, a keyboard, a first monitor, an electronic switch, a filter, a hard disk containing a package of geographic bases, a prediction and adaptation processor to which the second monitor, printer and hard disk are connected, respectively. In this case, the filter and the prediction and adaptation processor are connected to the control and monitoring body, and in the prediction and adaptation processor, a method of prediction is selected based on recommendations on the method's preferability by automatically analyzing the residuals between the actual weather and the forecasted one.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of forecasting and its justification is achieved by reducing the volume of processed material by taking into account the requirements of the consumer and automatically taking into account the features of the physical and geographical area.
