FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of electrical signals, namely to methods for finding-out of information image of electrical signal. In method, electrical signal is converted into a digital signal and for each discrete moment, a sampling control is taken on signal time axis. On this sample, a signal model is formed and noise signal is determined as offset between corresponding sampling and model samples. Noise power is estimated and, comparing its level with limer, reveals information image of signal at sampling controls. In order to increase the reliability of recognition of the information image, with help of mentioned signal model, information component is extracted and the specified limer is proportional to its level. It is believed that the information image of the signal corresponds to working one and the sampled control contains information component of signal if noise power is below the limer, otherwise, it is assumed that information image of the signal is inoperative and the sample does not contain information component of the signal. It is suggested to isolate the information component by structural analysis of sampling controls or by using a model in form of hybrid filter or by converting signal into a composite filter of the information component. Noise power is defined as average rectified or root-mean-square value of offset from the sampling controls. In the first case, limer of noise power is determined in proportion to average rectified value of information component of the signal in the sample, in the second case it is proportional to its root-mean-square value.
EFFECT: technical result of the method is an increase in the reliability of finding-out of the information image of electrical signal.
