FIELD: reactor measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of reactor measurements and can be used in monitoring and control systems for nuclear reactors. The first source of ionizing radiation is placed at a predetermined distance from the detector and the readings of the calibrated counting channel are determined. For the second, third, etc. up to n sources with their alternate placement at a specified distance from the detector, the activity of each of the sources at the time of testing is calculated and for each of them the calculated values of the counting rate are determined in relation to the measured value obtained for the first radiation source. Sequentially, in the presence of a second, third, etc. up to n sources, the readings of the calibrated counting channel and the values of the activity of each of the mentioned sources are determined and ΔNi is calculated - the value of the relative deviation of the readings of the calibrated counting channel from the calculated value when the i-th source is installed. The obtained values of ΔNi are approximated by the function of the dependence of the magnitude of the relative deviations from the readings of the calibrated counting channel and the counting rate is calculated.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of calibration of the counting channel in the entire range of the pulse reactimeter operation, simplification and acceleration of the procedure for calibrating the pulse channel of the reactimeter.
