FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to area of the reactor measurements, and can be used in monitoring and control systems of nuclear reactors. Method includes installation of the detector connected to the counting channel of the reactimeter, in zone of the radioactive radiation, determination and adjustment of data of the checked counting channel. The data of the counting channel include the reactance calculated by the reactimeter, and as the detector the uranium fission chamber is used, it controls the neutrons flow in the nuclear reactor. For the calibration the reactor is set to the power level corresponding to counting rate 106÷107 pulses/s, power is stabilized, and reactor power controls are set from one position to the another corresponding the power decreasing, at that value of the reactivity calculated by the reactimeter. If this value varies with time the second and third discrimination levels are measured. Operations of the controls movement and the appropriate correction of the discrimination levels are repeated until exclusion of the reactivity deviation with time from the value set after the controls movement.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of calibration, simplified calibration, and reduced time of calibration.
