Cross-section of the thread has the form of a figure made up of a rectangle (ab, bc, cd, da) adjacent to journal (1) with one side (ab), and of an equilateral trapezium (whose base is eƒ, the vertex is gƒ, the sides are ƒg and he). Base (eƒ) is equivalent to the rectangle side (ab) and adjoins the rectangle opposite side (cd).
