SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a lower crusher housing assembly and a crusher with such a unit that can be used in gyratory cone crushers. Lower housing assembly includes an outer wall, an inner hub radially disposed within the wall and surrounded by a portion of the inwardly facing surface, a plurality of support arms extending radially to connect the wall and the hub, a plurality of lining elements of the arms. Each arm has an axially upward facing surface that extends generally axially downward from the inner facing surface of the wall towards the hub at the radially outer section of the arm. Each of the lining elements is shaped and configured such that a portion of the back surface of the lining member is in contact with the upwardly facing surface of the lever in the socket for at least partially installing each of the lining elements on the respective arms. Lower body of the gyratory crusher comprising the above unit is characterized in that in the axial plane the radial length (B) of the socket is in the range of 30–90 % of the radial distance (A) between the radially outermost portion of the uppermost end face of the hub and an outwardly facing wall surface in an axial position in alignment with said uppermost end surface.

EFFECT: above-described assembly ensures a reliable and efficient installation of the lining elements.
