FIELD: desintegrators and crushing devices.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to an armor for a traverse of a cone crusher, a protective crosshead assembly with such armor and a cone crusher with such a protective assembly, which can be used for crushing or grinding materials. Armor of the traverse wall, detachably attached to the radially inwardly facing surface of the traverse, comprises a protective wall of the traverse, arranged to be placed over the inner surface of the traverse, wherein the rear wall extending upwardly from the protective wall and protruding from the protective wall across it comprises an inner and outer surfaces facing radially inwardly and radially outwardly. At the same time, at least one fastening element is provided on the rear wall for attaching the armor to the fixing ring. Fixing ring is arranged to be positioned over the traverse along its perimeter, with the possibility of locating around at least a portion of the traverse and armor of the arm. Traverse protective unit comprises a plurality of above-described wall armors configured to be positioned over the inner surface of the traverse, locking ring, designed to be placed over the perimeter of the traverse and a plurality of fixing members configured to be attached to each of the fastening members, respectively, to releasably attach wall armor to the locking ring. Cone crusher comprises a traverse with a central bushing and a plurality of arms, feed hopper for a material axially mounted over the traverse, and the above-described protective unit. Locking ring is located axially between the traverse and the hopper.

EFFECT: aforementioned execution of the armor provides modular protection of the traverse.
