SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to an armor for a traverse of a cone crusher, a protective crosshead assembly with such armor and a cone crusher with such a protective assembly, which can be used for crushing or grinding materials. Armor of the arm of the traverse of the cone crusher is designed to detachably attach to the shoulder a traverse extending radially outward from the central hub and forming part of the traverse, located on the upper frame of the cone crusher. Armor comprises a tunnel with a roof and side walls for protecting the upper and lateral surfaces of the arm and at least one fastening element provided on the rear wall, to attach the armor to the fixing ring through the outer surface. Fixing ring is designed to be positioned over and along the perimeter of the traverse. Security assembly comprises a plurality of the above armors arranged to be positioned over each of the plurality of traverse arms or a traverse, a locking ring and a plurality of fixing members configured to be attached to each of the fastening members, respectively, to releasably attach arm armor to the locking ring. Cone crusher comprises a traverse with a central bushing, a plurality of traverser arms extending radially outwardly from the bushing to the outer perimeter of the traverse, and the above-described guard assembly of the traverse.

EFFECT: aforementioned execution of the armor provides modular protection of the traverse.
