FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propellers of land-based trackless vehicles, namely to the wheels of off-road vehicles, mainly self-propelled wheelchairs, prams, freight carts and stretchers for patients. On the hub of the wheel are installed parallel to each other two carriers, made in the form of star-shaped plates, the periphery of which is a rim. At least one of the drove is mounted with the possibility of turning relative to the other carrier. Peripheral surface of each beam of the hub is lengthwise shaped as a curved line with rounded ends at the ends, and the lateral surface of the rays of the star-shaped plates is conical or in the form of a concave curve of the line and is connected in the base with the lateral surface of adjacent rays by a smooth transition.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability and ease of use of the wheel when overcoming stair flights, as well as driving on a level surface.
