FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves pressure machining of a blank at room temperature with simultaneous passage through it of direct current of lower density of 20-30 A/mm2, which fully suppresses streak formation and intermittent deformation of an aluminium-magnesium alloy.
EFFECT: invention allows improving quality of a processed surface and increasing service life of aluminium-magnesium alloys without any reduction of their strength and ductility.
