SUBSTANCE: using to determine the octane number of gasoline. Essence of the invention is that device according to the invention comprises a capacitive sensor, a temperature sensor, an amplifier, an ADC, a computing unit, wherein the capacitive sensor is made in the form of several rectangular plates of dielectric material, which are partially metallized, these plates are placed with a gap in the metal pipe along its axis, and the temperature sensor is located on one of these plates. O-ring seals are introduced in the device made of elastic material to prevent gasoline leakage at the junction of the device with a gasoline pipe, and the use of the lid on the metal pipe on the side opposite to the computing unit allows the test gas to be poured directly into the device.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of simplifying the device in a constructive and technological way, as well as providing the ability to determine the octane number of automobile gasolines in different conditions.
