FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical traction systems of vehicles. Autonomous vehicle energy-efficient traction electric drive comprises a primary diesel engine, a synchronous alternator, controlled rectifier and based on the fully controlled semiconductor switches autonomous voltage inverter, two measuring units, asynchronous traction motor, voltage sensor, capacitor, braking resistor and control system. In series connected with the commutator resistor is connected in parallel between the rectifier outputs and the inverter inputs. Control system receives information on the active current and voltages values coming from the measuring units and the voltage sensor, and generates control actions arriving at the control terminals of the fully controlled semiconductor switches and the commutator.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is in increase in the electric drive system energy performance.
