SUBSTANCE: invention relates to management of an external device. Method comprises: obtaining measurement information; requesting authentication by a management server; upon authentication, transmitting the measurement information to the management server; in response to transmitting the measurement information, receiving management information, for managing the external device, from the management server; and managing the external device based on the management information, the management information includes one of: health-related diagnostic information, prescription information, food recommendation information, exercise recommendations information, environmental configuration recommendations and update information for updating the external device, and measurement information is associated with the user and the environment surrounding that user.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the reliability of managing an external device through a host device.
