FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Renewable energy generated by a wind farm or other renewable energy sources is used to supply energy to a local or national grid. At least a portion of the renewable energy is stored by using energy to generate hydrogen and nitrogen. Hydrogen and nitrogen are then converted to ammonia, which is accumulated to provide them with an ammonia gas turbine. Gas turbine burns ammonia to generate power for the power grid. Unused process heat, for example waste heat, is collected from one or more of the first suitable stages of the system and sent to one or more second suitable stages of the system.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the overall efficiency of the system.
