FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the electricity supply to electrical mains contacting with the vehicles current collectors. Electrified railways electric traction AC network contains catenary system, rails circuit and additional shielding conductor. Shielding conductor is made in the form of the optical power ground wire (OPGW). Additional conductor is suspended on the catenary system supports using the insulators at the catenary system level. Additional conductor is connected in parallel to the rails circuit by this conductor grounding to the rail circuits choke-transformers middle points according to the "in two to three" principle. Additional conductor combines the functions of the shielding conductor and the fibre optic communication line and forms a separate technical system. Electrified railways electric traction AC network may also contain a reinforcing wire.

EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is increase in the shielding conductor application effectiveness.
