FIELD: liquefaction or curing of gases.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry, in particular to the cooling of hydrocarbon-rich fraction (1). It is cooled with respect to at least one refrigerant circuit (10-15). Refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit contains at least: nitrogen, carbon dioxide, methane and / or C2+-hydrocarbons. Refrigerant is compressed by at least one turbo compressor (C1) containing one or more gas-lubricated sliding rings. Primary shut-off gas is provided that comprises: a partial refrigerant flow and / or an external gas or a gas mixture containing nitrogen and / or methane. Primary shut-off gas is supplied to the turbo compressor (C1). Secondary shut-off gas containing nitrogen is provided, and the secondary shut-off gas to the turbo compressor (C1) is fed. Supply line is provided in the refrigerant circuit and a flow line is monitored in the collection line to select at least one nitrogen-rich flow (21) at least at certain times from refrigerant circuit (10-15).
EFFECT: as a result, the losses of the refrigerant are compensated.
