SUBSTANCE: undercarriage (1) of rail vehicle (901) includes a frame resting on wheel pairs (3, 4). On each wheel pair on both sides of the undercarriage there is one triangular lever (8) for horizontal axial steering of the wheel pair. Each triangular lever is pivotally connected to one of the two axles of the wheel pair by means of single bearing (9) on the side of the wheel pair, and with the undercarriage frame – by means of two bearings (10) on the frame side. At least one of bearings (9, 10) comprises a hydroller (12) with variable longitudinal stiffness, which has a hydraulic chamber filled with hydraulic fluid (31, 32), in which a hydraulic pressure is formed, through which the longitudinal stiffness is adjusted. Each journal-box has acceleration sensor (601) for changing the acceleration of the wheel pair and tuning device (605, 607) for adjusting the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber, depending on the measured acceleration of the wheel pair. Due to the active adjustment of the longitudinal stiffness, it is preferable to actively influence the twisting motion.
EFFECT: since the adjustment is based on or depending on the acceleration of the wheel pairs, the twisting motion can be influenced in such a way that it is possible to cause optimum movement in the track with minimal wear.
