FIELD: rocketry; measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocketry and measuring equipment and can be used in fire bench tests of solid-propellant rocket engine (SPRE). With the help of sensors, the value of vibration acceleration is measured, the obtained data is converted into wavelet coefficients by the continuous transformation algorithm, the scale of the expansion having the maximum energy of the wavelet coefficients is determined, the thickness resonance frequency at a given scale, the magnitude and variation of which is judged on the combustion rate, is determined. In this case, vector vibration sensors are placed in the points of the motor housing, which are informative with respect to the thickness variations, the measuring axes of the sensors are oriented along the radius of the charge, and measurements are made on the sections of the combustion time, where the charge channel along the entire length is guaranteed to have a cylindrical shape.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce the error in determining the combustion rate of the SPRE charge by providing an equally effective registration of the physical parameter during the whole combustion process by optimizing the positioning and orientation of the sensors, and also due to the possibility of simultaneous determination of the thickness resonant frequency (physical parameter) and its variation with time.
