FIELD: biotechnologies.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Proposed is the PCR studies instruments temperature, photometric and spectral characteristics validating method. Proposed method comprises use of solution with molecular probes – double-stranded DNA molecules, one of which chains is covalently bound to fluorophore, and the other is to fluorescence quencher, which are placed into the PCR studies test tubes or plates and installed into the PCR studies device. In the proposed method there is no need for amplification, performing only molecular probes melting with different melting points and monitoring the fluorescence signal for each molecular probe dependence on temperature with determination of the temperature characteristic points, at that, the fluorescence signal change kinetics is used to calculate the photometric and spectral parameters.

EFFECT: proposed method can be used in biotechnology for the PCR studies instruments optical and temperature validation in real time.
