SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemical and pharmaceutical industry and is a method of preparing a tablet and a tablet for the treatment of cancer, containing 5-hydroxy-1H-imidazole-4-carboxamide or a salt thereof, or a hydrate thereof, and silicon dioxide in an amount of 0.3 to 5 % by weight of the tablet, and one or more additives selected from the group, consisting of a disintegrating agent, binder, lubricant, excipient, corrigent, colorant, flavoring agent, acid, surfactant and plasticizer, wherein the silicon dioxide consists of one or more substances selected from light anhydrous silicic acid and hydrated silicon dioxide.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a tablet with a high solubility of the active compound without loss of drug hardness.
