FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the investigation field of the kinetics of structural and phase transformations in metals. Device is proposed for determining the thermal parameters of a phase transformation, which comprises a furnace with a controlled heater with a means of measuring its temperature, means for measuring the temperature and recording the heating and cooling curves of the sample, and means for supplying the cooling gas with a controlled flow rate. In this case, the means for measuring the temperature of the sample is made in the form of a complex of pyrometers, including a calibration pyrometer of spectral relations, operating on close spectral lines, and one or more pyrometers with overlapping measurement ranges that provide measurements in the required temperature range. For measurements, a temperature-uniform sample is used, and the device is equipped with a mechanism for moving the sample from the heating zone to the measurement zone, wherein the gas supply means is provided so as to directly blow the sample moved to the measurement zone by an adjustable, uniform, flow of air with a stabilized flow rate.
EFFECT: increased determination accuracy of the required parameter.
