FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal tests, namely to devices for determining the thermal conductivity of materials, and can be used to determine the thermal properties of materials, for example, when designing heat treatment regimes for metal products. Device is proposed for measuring the thermal conductivity of solid materials, which contains a heating means with a sample in the form of a rod, means for measuring the temperature of the end portions of the rod and a power control unit for the heating means. In this case, the heating means is made in the form of two covering ends of a rod of calorimetric cells with identical electric heaters, and a unit for controlling the power of the heating means in the form of a computer. In this case, the power supply unit of the heating means is made in the form of a capacitance connected to the mains via a rectifier, to which a second capacitance, connected by a voltage meter, is connected in parallel through a computer-controlled relay connected to the heaters of both calorimetric cells.

EFFECT: increase the accuracy of the measurement of the desired parameter.
