FIELD: thermophysical instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermophysical instrumentation and is intended for the combined measurement of the thermal conductivity of two dissimilar solid materials. According to the claimed method, a cylindrical matrix of a given profile and volume is made with evenly distributed identical through holes in it, in which samples from the studied materials are alternately placed. In the plane of one of the outer surfaces of the matrix, a heat flow entering it is created, and in the opposite plane of the matrix, a heat flow leaving it is created. For samples of each material, the steady-state temperature differences on the matrix and the corresponding capacities of incoming heat flows are measured, according to which the desired thermal conductivity is calculated. A device implementing the method is also proposed, which contains a cylindrical matrix of a given size with evenly distributed identical through holes in it, a heating and cooling plate, a thermal insulation shell, a pressure device, two thermal converters, a temperature meter, a cooling power regulator, a heater power control unit, an amperemeter and a voltmeter. The method and the device implementing it provide the possibility of unification of measurements of thermophysical quantities, in particular the specific heat capacity and the temperature coefficient of linear expansion, which allows the uniform use of standard samples used in the standards of units of these quantities.
EFFECT: expansion of the functional capabilities of the method with a simultaneous increase in the accuracy of measurements.
