FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to devices structurally connected to a roof and designed to prevent snow and ice cover melting from sloping roofs. Method for preventing snow and ice cover melting is that the snow and ice retaining elements are installed above the surface of the roofing material without contact and backed up by supporting elements fixed under the roofing material.
EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in improvement of roof load-carrying capacity.
