SUBSTANCE: method includes free placement of retaining detachable L- and/or T-shaped plates with fixing elements, which retain snow and ice layer, on the surface of a roof installed on a base. Fixing elements are ferromagnet elements, and on inner surface of the roof or in maximum close proximity to it, directly under ferromagnet elements, there are permanent magnets installed with the possibility of elastic displacement on spring and arranged on a special bracket.
EFFECT: prevention of snow and ice collapse from the roof surface.
