FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: using: as a primary converter for controlling the dimensional parameters of parts in the technological processes of processing blanks and parts on metal cutting machines. Essence of the Invention is that the rod damped vibration generator contains a housing, a vibrator, a vibration generator, a measuring rod, attached to the body by means of elastic elements and rigidly connected to the anchors of the vibrator and vibration generator, an additional annular permanent magnet is placed in the housing, located axially between the vibrator and the vibration generator, and the armature of the vibrator is provided with a permanent magnet, fixed to the measuring rod under the vibration generator when the same poles of the inserted magnets are placed opposite to each other, creating a magnetic damper for the measuring rod and the tip.
EFFECT: technical result: an increase of dynamic stability, reliability and durability of the rod damped vibration generator converter in the control of discontinuous surfaces.
