FIELD: electrical engineering; reciprocating drives. SUBSTANCE: magnetoelectric drive has fixed stator in the form of shell-type core accommodating pole shoes and field coil, and moving armature formed by pair of oppositely oriented magnets separated by ferromagnetic insert. Core is made in the form of ring and armature magnets are mounted on rod passed through hole in core ring and mounted within case on two diaphragm-type springs with magnets symmetrically arranged relative to pole shoes of core.
