FIELD: technology of water and air purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cleaning of the urban effluents and the food industry enterprises, as well as livestock and poultry complexes effluents with their subsequent discharge into the water body. Method includes mechanical, biological, physical and chemical purification with return of the depleted of phosphorus compacted active silt from the sludge compactor-dephosphatizer to the aeration tank. At the stage of physical and chemical purification, a complex of reagents is introduced into the sludge from the sludge compactor-dephosphatizer, namely: lime from the ratio P:Ca2+=(1–1.5) and sodium hydroxide in amount, which increases the pH to 10.5–11. To accelerate the sparingly soluble orthophosphoric acid salt crystallization, supplying the air in an amount of 1–2 m2 for 1 m3 of wastewater.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the degree of the sulfates and phosphates removal, reduction in the water total hardness discharged into the water body, reduction in the cost of reagents, reducing the sediment amount, reducing the operating costs for the sludge removal from the sewage treatment plants site.
