FIELD: technological processes; processing and recycling of wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of purification of phosphorus-containing wastewater and can be used for the treatment of urban wastewater, wastewater enterprises of the food industry, as well as livestock and poultry farms. Method of removal of phosphorus from wastewater includes the implementation of physico-chemical treatment of biologically treated wastewater. In the biologically treated wastewater injected seawater in the ratio of 1:0.05–1:0.1 with the introduction of caustic soda in an amount that provides an increase in pH to 10.5–11. To accelerate the crystallization process of the sparingly soluble phosphoric acid salt, air is supplied in the amount of 0.5–0.6 m3/m3 waste water.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the concentration of phosphorus in biologically treated wastewater, reduce the cost of purchased reagents, the export of chemical sludge, reduce the amount of chemical sludge and ensure its use as an organic-mineral fertilizer.
