FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the generation of optical radiation and relates to a method of producing photoluminescence of individual color centers in diamond. Method includes exposing the diamond sample to excitation radiation and collecting radiation from color centers from the face of the sample using an optical system. When manufacturing a diamond sample, the color centers are placed in a periodic sequence of alternating high- and low-boron-doped layers. Then, using the effects of Bragg reflection of the radiation of color centers from alternating layers and total internal reflection from the face of the sample, form the waveguide modes of photoluminescence localized at the face of the sample with identical values of the wave vectors parallel to the face of the sample. Radiation is removed from the sample by means of an optical system consisting of a glass truncated cone, a conical mirror, and a collecting lens. Base of the cone is placed parallel to the face of the diamond sample at a distance of the order of the scale of the exponential decay of the electromagnetic field of the localized modes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of obtaining the photoluminescence of individual color centers with increasing their concentration.
